Leave a Comment - Preferably Positive?

One way to help others find our podcasts is if you leave a comment/rating on iTunes podcast listing page. I've put the links below (also found on the ssktn.com/subscribe page) if you feel like clicking through and leaving a review on your favourite show.

Consider it an early Christmas present to your favourite podcast network! Ok, maybe your second favourite?

Welcome to the Internet, Shawn Blanc

Just posted this morning is my interview with Shawn Blanc.

I'm really proud with how the interview turned out and while that's usually enough for me - it was a nice surprise to see Shawn's post about it include the words: "...awesome podcast..."

I'll be printing that one out and putting it in my scrapbook. :)

Update Expired Podcasts in iTunes

This Applescript, Update Expired Podcasts, looks like something that might appeal to some of the listeners in our audience.

iTunes will stop updating a podcast if you have not listened to at least one of its episodes in five days. This script will batch-update every podcast subscription so you don't have to manually update each one individually.

While I'm partial to using Instacast to listen to podcasts, iTunes does a pretty good job of letting you keep up with and listen to all your favourite podcasts.

I Take That Back

Last month I put out the idea via Twitter that I'd be soliciting suggestions for people to interview for the Welcome to the Internet show that's been on hiatus for awhile.

And while I like the idea of giving people input into how things happen here at SSKTN, I also realized pretty quickly that if suggestions for people to interview came in and I didn't find the particular person interesting, I probably wasn't going to want to spend much time preparing to interview.

So I've axed that particular board on the SSKTN Trello page. I've kept a copy of the people suggested and will likely follow through on some/all of them.

Like your ex-girlfriend/boyfriend said - it's not you, it's me. :)
